Dear Members,
I hope you had a great holiday season. 2022 was a good year for our union despite a declining economy. We had very good results at our bargaining tables and fought for our members’ rights with our legal and legislative teams. We continue the fight for equity for our psychiatrists, especially those who work onsite at state facilities.
With our improved website, media communications, and union software, UAPD will continue to be more efficient and responsive to our members. We expect an activist year in 2023… and that means your participation. Remember: you ARE the union. United we stand, divided we fall. Reach out to your fellow members and union reps. Get involved in the upcoming year 2023!
Wishing you the best,
Stuart Bussey, M.D., J.D.
UAPD President
