More than 800 resident doctors and fellows at the University at Buffalo unionized earlier this year, hoping to improve the working conditions that physicians-in-training have long encountered.
But so far, the pace of negotiations has been “creepingly slow,” said Rob Boreanaz, a labor attorney and chief negotiator for the union.
