After months of bargaining, a tentative agreement has been reached between the Union of American Physicians and Dentists (UAPD) and the University of California (UC) system for a three-year contract effective July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2027.

- Significant annual wage increases for career, non-probationary employees of 6%, 5%, and 5% (per-diems receiving 5%, 4%, and 4%).
- Bonus of 1.5% upon ratification for career, non-probationary employees.
- Employer has agreed to establish a yearly review of pay equity within campuses to address issues, such as gender-based pay inequality or new hires making more than current employees.
The voting period is open for members until Friday, June 28, 2024. Membership meetings will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, and Monday, June 24, 2024, to discuss the tentative agreement. Please check your emails for the Zoom link.
