On October 1, 2023, the new Article 7.9 Physician On-Call (POC) language went into effect. If you are still receiving non-urgent or non-emergent calls during on-call shifts, contact your UAPD representative and provide details.
Regarding the new on-call rate of $15 per hour, the UAPD was informed that CalHR is working on updating the 998 documentation process. However, CalHR has not provided us with a timeline for when this will be completed. Information will be provided by the State when it is finalized.
