Join the UAPD for our first set of California regional meetings for all BU16 members. In-person meetings will be held in San Diego, Coalinga, and in our Sacramento office. A Zoom invitation will also be sent to members as an option.

CalHR has been stalling negotiations for a new and improved collective bargaining agreement—UAPD’s successor contract with the State of California. UAPD submitted a comprehensive proposal to CalHR on March 9, 2023, for improvements for all of our members in every department, most of which have either been ignored or reject by CalHR to date. Members have access to the Union’s original submitted proposal on March 9, 2023, bargaining updates, and access to the current contract, as well as the proposed changes. If able to, please review some or all of the materials prior to meeting on Monday, August 21, 2023.
It is time to step up the pressure, but first it is urgent to make sure all BU16 members are aware of what is and is not happening, and what options are available.
