On Saturday, April 22, members of the Union of American Physicians and Dentists and Service Employees International Union-United Healthcare Workers West (SEIU-UHW) protested in solidarity against staffing shortages at LifeLong Medical Care’s annual gala at the Claremont Club and Spa in Berkeley. Hundreds of healthcare workers, medical professionals, and community allies filled the streets with signs and chanted slogans as they marched outside to raise awareness of workplace concerns.
