UAPD members from Solano County have voted overwhelmingly in favor of a new two year contract. The agreement will go into effect pending Board of Supervisor approval. The agreement includes an immediate 2% pay increase and a second 2% increase on October 1, 2014. The language for Continuing Medical Education has been improved to allow for online course participation, and doctors will now receive $1,500 to offset CME expenses. In a pension cost-sharing agreement, employees may see a .5% pay deduction in year one, or 1% deduction in year two, if CalPERS increases the employer contribution rate above 14%.
