The UAPD Members met yesterday to discuss strategy for the upcoming negotiations between the Union and the County. Over 20 members attended and voiced their support of presenting a united front to the County warning the County that it cannot expect to continue salary reductions for the UAPD represented physicians. The doctors agreed that they cannot be undermined or disrespected in this next round of negotiations! All of the doctors in attendance signed this letter (download PDF) addressed to Dr. Jeff Smith, County Executive. The Santa Clara UAPD physicians ask for your support in collecting every member’s signature by Friday, May 17, 2013.
