Under the NuPhysicia Plan, the for-profit Texas corporation will make tens of millions before a cent of savings is realized for California. California’s leaders must be made aware of the problems in NuPhysicia’s proposal, and should authorize an unbiased study to consider all the alternatives for the future of prison medical care in California.
